It’s a purpose-built DC battery cable with an inline on/off switch, designed to keep things simple. You connect straight to your battery using O-ring terminals, then plug into your Starlink Mini. It’s made for 4WDs, campervans, caravans, boats and remote setups where power needs to be clean and dependable.

Unlike cigarette lighter setups, this avoids voltage drop and unstable connections. The 18AWG copper wiring helps deliver steady power, while the inline switch gives you quick control without touching your battery. The weather-resistant connector also helps when things get dusty or wet.

Installation:

  1. Connect red ring terminal to battery positive
  2. Connect black ring terminal to battery negative
  3. Plug DC connector into Starlink Mini
  4. Use the inline switch to control power

  • Use appropriate inline fuse close to the battery (not included) for added safety and protection
  • Cable should not be sharply bent, pinched, or run near heat sources to maintain performance and safety
  • Disconnect power before installation to prevent short circuits or electrical hazards
  • Ensure the switch is in the off position before connecting or disconnecting the cable
  • Regularly check terminals and connections for corrosion or looseness in long-term installs

Yep, and that’s exactly what it’s built for. Our gear is tested on corrugations, heat and long-distance trips, not just in ideal conditions. If it can’t handle that, we don’t sell it.
