Important Compatibility Notes:

• The waterproof female connector accepts compatible standard RJ45 Ethernet plugs. Oversized, shrouded or proprietary Starlink connectors may not fit.
• This is an Ethernet data extension adapter, not a standalone power supply or voltage converter.
• Gen 3 dish-to-router cable extensions require the appropriate compatible cables and connections.
• The IP68 rating applies to the correctly assembled connector housing. It does not guarantee the Starlink dish's original waterproof rating is maintained.
• Not designed for Starlink Gen 2 proprietary cable connections.

Installation Difficulty: Easy

Step 1 – Connect to Your Equipment

Insert the male RJ45 connector into the compatible Ethernet port on your Starlink system or networking equipment. Ensure the connector is fully seated.

Step 2 – Connect Your Extension Cable

Insert your separate standard RJ45 Ethernet cable into the waterproof female connector.

Step 3 – Secure the Waterproof Housing

Assemble and tighten the threaded waterproof connector housing, ensuring the cable seal is correctly seated to help protect the connection against dust and water ingress.

Step 4 – Route Your Cable

Run the Ethernet cable to your compatible router, access point, network switch or other wired networking device.

For optional panel mounting, install the connector housing through a suitably sized opening and secure it using the supplied mounting nut.

Step 5 – Check Your Connection

Power on your networking equipment and confirm that the Ethernet connection is operating correctly.

Installation Notes:

• No cable cutting, soldering or crimping is required.
• Use a compatible standard RJ45 Ethernet cable, preferably Cat6 or higher.
• Ensure all connector seals are correctly assembled for outdoor use.
• Use the protective cap whenever the female connector is disconnected.
• For permanent outdoor installations, confirm that the complete setup, including the Starlink equipment port, has appropriate weather protection.

Important Use Notes:

• Use a quality Cat6 or higher Ethernet cable with a compatible standard RJ45 plug.
• Ensure the waterproof connector housing and seals are correctly assembled before exposure to moisture.
• Avoid excessive cable lengths, tight bends and unnecessary additional connectors that may affect signal quality.
• The adapter does not provide independent power or boost Ethernet transmission speeds.
• Starlink Mini's original IP67 rating is not maintained automatically when using a third-party RJ45 cable. Check the required environmental protection for your installation.
• Always ensure that any panels or cable entry points are separately sealed where required.
